Buyer privacy notice

This notice explains what CraveIt collects when you order from a stall as a buyer. It is made under the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

• Preorders: the items you chose and a random code kept on your phone so you can edit or cancel. We don't ask for your name.
• Tickets: your order number, items and status.
• Pickup texts (optional): your mobile number, only if you enter it, used only to text you about that order.
• Phone alerts (optional): shown by your own phone's browser. We don't receive a device identifier.

How long we keep it

Preorders are deleted when the stall closes for the day; only counts are kept for reports. Mobile numbers are removed when the session closes. Order details follow the stall's plan and are then deleted.

Who sees it

The stall sees your order and order number. Stalls, their screens and CraveIt staff never see your mobile number. We use service providers to run the service; they act on our instructions.

Your choices

You can skip texts and alerts and still order. Reply STOP to any text to stop them. You can ask to see or correct information about you by emailing hello@craveit.nz, and you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
