Terms of use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms are between you and Arbour & Anchor Limited, a New Zealand company trading as CraveIt ("CraveIt", "we", "us"). They are the master agreement for your use of CraveIt (the "service"). Our Privacy notice and Refund policy form part of these terms. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. The service
CraveIt gives site owners session-based Counter, Prep and Board screens, buyer tickets and status pages, reports and insights, public site pages and optional pickup texts. CraveIt is a tool for running your trading. You are the seller to your buyers. CraveIt is not a party to any sale between you and a buyer. Sessions close automatically after 6 hours.
2. Your account and devices
You must be at least 18 and have authority to bind the business you register. Use a real email address, keep your details accurate and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account and on devices you link, including linked screens that run without a separate login. Unlink any device you no longer control. New accounts may have limits on sessions, tickets or texts to prevent abuse.
3. Business use
You confirm you acquire and use the service for the purposes of a business. To the extent permitted by section 43 of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and section 5D of the Fair Trading Act 1986, the parties agree the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, and sections 9, 12A, 13 and 14(1) of the Fair Trading Act 1986 do not apply, and that this is fair and reasonable.
4. Plans
Free includes 1 site and one session at a time. Orders clear when a session closes, and your latest session report is kept.
Premium is a monthly subscription at the price shown on our Pricing page and at checkout, plus GST. Run up to 5 sites at once, keep session reports and insights for 12 months and order detail for 1 month after each session closes, and use deeper insights, included monthly texts, site pages and branding, and priority support. Features marked "coming soon" are offered once available. Older records are deleted on schedule; anonymous totals may be kept. Download anything you need before it is due to be deleted.
Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. Cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
5. Pickup texts and SMS credits
Pickup texts are optional and use SMS credits. Credits are sold as one-off bundles; there is no monthly SMS plan; paid credits expire after 90 days and bonus credits after 30 days, and credits expiring first are used first. Included monthly texts on Premium are for that month only, do not roll over and have no cash value. A text that fails to send uses no credit.
Automatic top-up is optional. If you turn it on, you choose a trigger level and one bundle, save a card and agree to the charge shown. Each time your balance falls below your level, we charge that card for your chosen bundle plus GST, without asking you again. We limit how often this can happen, and there is no automatic monthly charge. If a charge fails, automatic top-up pauses and we tell you. You can change your level, bundle or card, pause automatic top-up or remove your card at any time in Settings. A change applies to later charges only.
We may send texts from a short code, long code, alphanumeric sender or any other sender type, and may change sender, route or carrier at any time. Delivery depends on mobile networks and is not guaranteed. Buyers can reply STOP to opt out, and we honour every opt-out.
6. Payments
Subscriptions and SMS credits are sold by Arbour & Anchor Limited and processed securely by our payments provider. All prices are in NZD and exclude GST. GST at 15% is added to every charge, including automatic top-ups. Receipts and invoices are sent by email. We never receive or store your full card number. Refunds follow our Refund policy.
If you let buyers pay through the service, those payments are processed by third-party payment providers under their own terms. You are responsible for your prices, your GST and other taxes, and any refunds or disputes with your buyers.
7. Service providers and third parties
We use third-party suppliers to deliver the service, including for hosting, payments, text messages, email, AI and analytics, in or outside New Zealand. We choose suppliers with reasonable care and may appoint, replace or remove any of them at any time without notice, provided the service you pay for is not reduced.
Where a third-party service or agreement applies, that third party is responsible for its own service under its own terms. To the extent permitted by law, CraveIt is responsible only for what it provides on the CraveIt platform, and is not liable for any act, omission, outage or loss caused by a third party.
8. Your content and data
You own your business data and content, including menus, photos and site page text. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process and display it to provide, secure and improve the service, including publishing your public site pages. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload. We may remove content that is unlawful, infringing or harmful. We may use anonymous, aggregated data that does not identify you or any buyer to run, measure and improve the service.
9. Your buyers and the law
You are responsible for the goods and services you sell, including food safety, labelling, allergens, licences, permits and consumer law. Buyer phone numbers are used only for pickup texts for that order, never for marketing, and are deleted when the session closes. You must comply with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 and the Privacy Act 2020, and must not use the service to message buyers for any other purpose.
10. AI features
AI features such as summaries and menu descriptions produce suggestions only. Check them for accuracy before relying on or publishing them. You are responsible for any AI-assisted content you use.
11. Acceptable use, suspension and termination
Use the service lawfully. Do not use it for fraud, spam or abuse, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with its security, availability or limits. We may suspend or limit access, with notice where reasonable, for a breach of these terms, non-payment, a security, fraud or legal risk, or abuse of fair-use limits. We may end your account for a material or repeated breach. You may close your account at any time. Clauses that by their nature continue, including payment, content licence, liability, indemnity and general terms, survive termination.
12. Changes
We keep improving CraveIt and may add, change or remove features. We may update these terms and our prices. For material changes or price increases, we give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it. Minor or legally required changes may take effect sooner.
13. Intellectual property and feedback
We own the service and its software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan. Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service or work around its technical limits. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.
14. Warranties and liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill but, to the extent permitted by law, provide it "as is" and do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet every need. Keep your own copies of records you need.
To the extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, sales, goodwill or data; and (b) our total liability arising from or in connection with the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim and NZ$100. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your goods and services, your dealings with buyers, your content, your breach of these terms, or your breach of law, including messaging and privacy law.
16. General
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction. They are the entire agreement between us about the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. We may give notices by email to your account address or in the app. If these terms conflict with our Privacy notice or Refund policy, these terms apply unless that document says otherwise.
