Buzzer alternative
Coaster buzzers were built for restaurants with tables. Market stalls need something lighter: the buyer's own phone. CraveIt shows their ticket live and texts them when the order is ready.
When you take an order, the buyer gets a ticket — a QR code on their receipt or a number on a reusable card. Scanning the QR opens a live page on their phone showing the order moving from in queue, to preparing, to ready. If they choose to share their number, they also get a text the moment it's ready.
A pager kit costs hundreds of dollars before you've served anyone, and keeps costing in replacements and batteries. CraveIt's counter, prep queue and ready board are free. Text alerts are optional and sold as prepaid SMS credits from NZ$0.20 + GST per text — you only pay when you use them.
The pickup board does the job the buzzer wall used to do: a big screen at your stall shows every ticket moving to ready. Buyers can watch the board, check their phone, or both.
No — and that's deliberate. Keep your cash box, Square, Smartpay or bank terminal for the money. CraveIt handles everything after the payment: the ticket, the kitchen queue, the board and the pickup alert.
Open your site in minutes and run your next market day without a single pager.
