Buyer terms
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply when you use CraveIt as a buyer: scanning a stall's code, preordering, viewing a ticket or getting pickup updates. CraveIt is run by Arbour & Anchor Limited, a New Zealand company trading as CraveIt ("CraveIt", "we", "us").
Who you are buying from
You buy food and drink from the stall, not from CraveIt. The stall sets its menu, prices, stock, payment methods and wait times, and is responsible for the food, its preparation, allergens, refunds and any complaint about your order. CraveIt provides the ordering screens only.
Preorders
A preorder holds your place on the stall's list while you queue in person. It is not confirmed, paid or guaranteed until the counter accepts it and you pay. Items can sell out, and the counter may change or cancel a preorder. If the stall asks whether you are still in line and you don't reply in time, your preorder may be cancelled.
Fair use
Use the service honestly. Don't place orders you don't intend to collect, interfere with a stall's list, or try to access anything that isn't yours. We may limit or block use that looks like misuse.
Availability
We provide the service as it is and as available. Phone signal, venue Wi-Fi, device settings and third-party services can delay or stop updates and alerts. Always check with the counter if unsure.
Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, CraveIt is not liable for a stall's goods or service, missed or delayed orders, or loss arising from use of the service, and our total liability to you is limited to NZ$100. Where you buy for personal use, nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and the providers we use to run the service. The version on this page applies when you use the service. New Zealand law applies.
